Dry Ice Blasting

Dry ice blasting is a technology used for the safe and effective removal of various hazardous materials. It can be used to clean things like food processing and industrial equipment without having to disassemble the equipment. It can also be used for the removal of things like paint, graffiti and mold.  In addition, it can be a helpful tool in the cleaning or restoration of materials like concrete, brick and wood.

Dry ice blasting is similar to techniques like soda-blasting or sandblasting, but instead of sodium bicarbonate or sand as the blasting material, it uses dry ice (the solid form of carbon dioxide).  The best part about this technique is that it won’t damage surfaces of equipment!

At 24/7 Restoration we use dry ice blasting to safely and completely remove hazardous materials such as mold. If you have any questions or would like more information on dry ice blasting in Calgary, give us a call!
